This is a website. Websites take money to run. In the past two year the costs have just been dug out of my family and my own pockets. This time it is your turn! By now you are thinking uggg... they want my money just like the rest of the world. Well no we really do not (but if you are in a giving mood we will gladly accept it). What we need help in is clicking, yes clicking. Throughout www.reachouttotheworld.com you will see ads. We get paid when people click on these ads (no do not click on them repeatedly because the ad company has a way to tell when you are just clicking on them to ring up our pockets). But every time you are visiting, please click on the ads, help us out. There is also a google search bar on the homepage, we get paid when people use that to search google too!
It takes a lot to keep a website up. It takes many pieces of equipment, and as I am learning, equipment is not cheap. I recently got a new laptop, which makes videos much much easier and the trips go smoother. [mini story: The first trip to Gulfport, MS we were staying in tents, I did not have a laptop computer and my father did not either. What are my options? Take my desktop computer and monitor, so I packed it up and away we went! It was very strange seeing a tent with four men and a desktop computer with a 19" monitor! Things are much nicer now with laptops :) end of story] In the past year we have purchased a laptop, a camera, and a camcorder and also there fees that go along with having the website up all the time.
I say all that to say, click on our ads so we can cover some of the costs it takes to do the things we do. Plain and simple. These trips are life changing, and this website is all about trying to show you the amazing things that go on when you take some time out of your schedule to give to God.
